Refund Policy
Prajna Path offers contemplative education, philosophical guidance, and related services that require time, preparation, and commitment. For this reason, our refund policy differs according to the nature of each offering. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking or purchase.
General Principle
Prajna Path offerings are not interchangeable consumer products. They involve advance preparation, reserved time, and, in some cases, third-party costs. By making a booking or purchase, you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below.
1. One-to-One Services
(Vedic Astrology Readings, Aura Readings, Philosophical Guidance Sessions)
Refunds
- All one-to-one services are non-refundable once booked. This is because preparation begins immediately upon booking, and time is reserved exclusively for you.
Rescheduling
- Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
- Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice cannot be rescheduled and will be treated as a missed appointment.
Missed Appointments
- Missed appointments are forfeited and are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
2. Live Online Courses (Multi-Week)
Before the Course Begins
-
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the course has not yet started and no course materials or sessions have been accessed.
After the Course Has Begun
-
No refunds are available once the course has started, including after attendance at the first session. This policy reflects the cumulative and participatory nature of the courses.
3. Physical Goods
(Gemstone Jewellery, Malas, Bracelets)
Returns
- Physical items may be returned within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with UK consumer law.
Items must be:
- unused
- undamaged
- returned in their original condition
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Exclusions
- Custom-made or personalised items are non-refundable, unless faulty.
4. Retreats (In-Person, Overseas)
Retreats involve advance commitments to venues, facilitators, and local partners.
Deposits
- All retreat deposits are non-refundable.
- Balance Payments
- Refunds of balance payments (where applicable) are subject to clearly stated cut-off dates,
- which will be provided at the time of booking.
- Travel & Insurance (Very Important)
- All retreat participants are required to take out comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for:
- cancellation
- medical emergencies
- travel disruption
- personal circumstances
Prajna Path cannot accept responsibility for losses arising from events beyond its control, including but not limited to venue closures, travel disruption, illness, or force majeure events. Participants are strongly advised to ensure their insurance policy covers retreat participation.
5. Retreat Cancellations by Prajna Path
In the unlikely event that Prajna Path must cancel a retreat:
- We will make reasonable efforts to refund amounts received where possible, after unavoidable costs have been accounted for.
- Prajna Path cannot guarantee full refunds where third-party costs have already been
-
incurred. This is precisely why comprehensive travel insurance is essential.
6. Discretion
While the above policies are firm, Prajna Path reserves the right to exercise discretion in
exceptional circumstances. Any such discretion is offered voluntarily and does not constitute a waiver of this policy.
7. Payment Processors
Refunds, where applicable, will be issued via the original payment method (Stripe or PayPal) and are subject to the processing timelines of those providers.
Closing Note
Prajna Path is committed to fairness, clarity, and integrity — both for participants and for the sustainability of the work itself. These policies exist to support a respectful and balanced relationship on both sides.
