Contemplative Philosophy in Practice

Retreats at Prajna Path offer a period of withdrawal from habitual routines in order to listen more carefully to one’s life.

Rooted in contemplative philosophy and meditation, these retreats provide time for reflection, silence, dialogue, and integration. They are not escapes from responsibility, but opportunities to
return to life with greater clarity and steadiness. During the retreat, participants engage in philosophical dialogue, guided meditation, reflective
writing, and periods of quiet reflection. Optional one-to-one philosophical companionship or astrological consultations may also be arranged during the retreat.

Retreats are primarily held in India and are shaped by simplicity, rhythm, and attentiveness to place. The setting supports a slower pace of reflection and allows philosophical insight to unfold in a more spacious environment.

Groups are intentionally small (usually no more than ten participants) in order to preserve a reflective atmosphere and allow meaningful dialogue.

Each retreat has its own character and focus, while remaining grounded in the shared ethos of Prajna Path: living in wisdom, discernment, and freedom from compulsive attachment.
