Exploring Contemplative Philosophy
The courses at Prajna Path are designed for those who wish to engage philosophy not merely as an intellectual subject, but as a lived and reflective practice.
Rooted primarily in the Vedic philosophical tradition, and informed by other philosophical perspectives from across the world, these courses explore how awareness, discernment, and inner steadiness can develop in the midst of ordinary life.
Teaching combines philosophical dialogue with guided meditation and reflective writing. Socratic questioning helps participants examine assumptions and clarify how they understand their experience, while contemplative practices cultivate the
attention and steadiness needed for philosophical insight to mature.
Courses are offered in small groups and run over several weeks. Most are taught
online, allowing participants to join from different parts of the world, while a small
number of in-person courses are offered in the United Kingdom during Darren’s
teaching visits.
