Refund Policy

Last updated: [5th May 2026]

Prajna Path provides contemplative education, philosophical guidance, and mentorship services. These offerings require significant advance preparation, reserved time, and a mutual commitment between the facilitator and the participant.

Our policies reflect the bespoke and time-intensive nature of these professional services. Please read this document carefully before completing your enrolment or booking a session.

General Principle

Path services are commitments to a shared process of inquiry. They involve dedicated preparation and, in some cases, non-recoverable third-party costs. By registering for a programme or booking a consultation, you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below.

1. One-to-One Services

(Philosophical Companionship, Writing Mentorship, Vedic Astrology, and Aura Readings)

  • Fees: All one-to-one consultation fees are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed. Professional study and preparation for your session begin immediately, and your time slot is reserved exclusively for you.
  • Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled once, provided at least 48 hours’ notice is given, subject to availability.
  • Late Notice & Missed Sessions: Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice cannot be accommodated for rescheduling. Missed sessions are forfeited and are not eligible for a refund or a new time slot.

2. Study Programmes & Online Courses

  • Initial Registration: You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial fee payment, provided the request is made at least 7 days prior to the commencement of the first session, and no course materials or private portals have been accessed.
  • Post-Commencement: No refunds or credits are available once a term or programme has started. This reflects the limited cohort sizes and the cumulative nature of the curriculum.

3. Retreats (In-Person)

Retreats involve significant advance financial commitments to international venues and local partners.

  • Deposits: All retreat deposits are non-refundable and serve to secure your place and cover administrative costs.
  • Balance Fees: Refunds of balance fees (where applicable) are subject to specific cut-off dates provided at the time of registration.
  • Mandatory Travel Insurance: Participation in any retreat is contingent upon you holding comprehensive travel insurance. This must include coverage for:

                    ◦ Cancellation and Curtailment
                    ◦ Medical Emergencies & Evacuation
                    ◦ Travel Disruption and Personal Circumstances

  • Liability: Prajna Path cannot accept responsibility for financial losses arising from events beyond our control, including venue closures, travel disruption, illness, or force majeure.

5. Cancellations by Prajna Path

In the unlikely event that Prajna Path must cancel a retreat or programme:

  • We will make every reasonable effort to refund fees received, minus any unavoidable third- party costs that are non-recoverable.
  • Prajna Path cannot guarantee the recovery of external costs, which is why mandatory travel insurance is a requirement for all residential participants.

6. Professional Discretion

While these policies are firm to ensure the sustainability of our work, Prajna Path reserves the right to exercise discretion in truly exceptional circumstances. Any such gesture is offered voluntarily and does not constitute a waiver of these general terms.

7. Fee Processing

Refunds, where applicable, will be issued via the original payment method used at the time of enrolment (including PayPal, major credit/debit cards, or digital wallets processed through our secure Shopify checkout). Please note that refund timelines are dictated by these providers and are outside our direct control.

Closing Note

Prajna Path is committed to fairness, clarity, and integrity—both for our participants and for the preservation of the work itself. These policies exist to support a respectful, balanced, and sustainable relationship between the guide and the seeker.
